- The sewing pattern files in either metric or imperial measurements, depending on the option you selected. Patterns come in A4 and AO formats (metric) or US Letter and Arch E formats (imperial) for both home and copy shop printing.
- A detailed instruction booklet available in both a print-friendly version with minimal colours, and a screen-friendly version designed for easy viewing on digital devices. It includes preparation instructions, size charts, materials needed, pattern assembly guidance, cutting layouts, and step-by-step written instructions with diagrams.
- A full video tutorial for each variation, showing you how to make the pattern – perfect if you prefer to learn by watching.
Types of usage
We want to make sure our patterns are used in a way that’s fair for everyone, whether you’re sewing for fun or selling your handmade pieces. Here’s how it works:
1. Personal use
Perfect for home sewists making items for themselves, gifts, or personal projects. This option does not allow selling items made from the pattern.
Examples:
- Permitted: Sewing a garment for yourself, or making a gift for a friend.
- Not permitted: Selling the finished item.
2. Handmade business (Up to 100 items)
This option is for small-scale makers who handcraft and sell their pieces. It allows you to sell up to 100 finished items made from this pattern, whether at markets, through Etsy, or on your own website.
Examples:
- Permitted: Selling handmade items at a craft market, or listing up to 100 finished pieces on your small business website.
- Not permitted: Outsourcing production to a factory.
What's not allowed?
We do not permit mass production or use by large fashion brands. If you plan to produce beyond 100 handmade items or outsource manufacturing, this pattern is not the right fit for your business.
